After photographing Ketakee and Kevin’s engagement session this past June in San Francisco and pretty much laughing the entire time, I knew great things were in store for their late summer wedding at Peacock Gap Golf Club. Nestled in the hills in San Rafael, Marin County, and close enough to the Bay to keep things (mercifully) a little cooler, friends and family gathered from all over to celebrate the wedding of this lovely pair from San Francisco. These two super nice, beautiful people compliment each other perfectly. Kevin, with his sharp intellect, awesome sense of humor, and (it goes without saying) perfect hair, and Ketakee (Kay) who is patient, kind, has an incredible smile, and who both ignites and challenges Kevin’s sense of humor (just wait until you see the sequence from right after their last trip around the fire during the ceremony). Together, they bring out the best in each other and we couldn’t be more happy for these two!
We loved Kay’s gorgeous green and yellow sari with gold and a hint of red accents. And Kevin’s grand entrance for his baraat was one we’ll never forget for sure! And all of this was lovingly and exceptionally planned and coordinated by Denise Lilly of Denise Lilly Engagements.

Wow, what an entrance!!!
As is customary, the mother of the bride playfully pinches the groom’s nose. According to the tradition, Kevin must now do whatever his mother-in-law says for the rest of his life…! The best man (the groom’s brother at left) is generally charged with the task of protecting the groom’s nose during this encounter, but clearly the mother of the bride was too quick (perhaps she had been carefully planning for this moment?) and the block was simply too late! 🙂
You just can’t be too careful, especially when it comes to your shoes…Â Kevin wisely opts to entrust his foot garments under lock and key with one of his most loyal advisers, in what we can only assume is a bullet proof, tamper proof, and most importantly, niece, nephew, and cousin-proof case, thereby ensuring that he will walk back down the aisle with his head high, his feet properly adorned, and not a penny poorer… Well played indeed!
