Sammamish Indian Wedding Photographer | James Thomas Long Photography | Parveen & Dinesh | Jago & Sangeet!

Parveen & Dinesh kicked things off in grand fashion at the Chandni Restaurant with their Jago (jaago) and Sangeet, preceded by an engagement ceremony as well! The pots with candles worn on the head were traditionally used in India on the village streets at night to wake everyone up and join the festivities. Jago literally means “wake up!” And everyone was definitely awake and up for this one, that’s for sure! The dance floor was absolutely packed!!! With such a pre-wedding celebration, one can only imagine what we’ll see for the wedding reception! 🙂 More pre-wedding events and of course, the main event coming soon!

Congratulations Parveen & Dinesh! Thank you for letting me capture your amazing Jago event! Enjoy another sneak peek at a few of the many highlights.
