We’re starting to see some early signs of Spring here in the Seattle WA area. And while I’m a bit sad to see my favorite season nearing its end (yes, a cold, snowy day is about as good as it gets in my book…), warmer, dryer weather does have its advantages. For starters, wedding photographers in Seattle can start gearing up for engagement season, which typically happens just before the June wedding season. Speaking of engagement sessions and weddings… I’ve got a sneak peek at a recent session that has both!

It’s not often that I get to photograph a wedding in the beautiful wilderness, especially when everything is newly green with Spring. So when M & J elected to have a short, intimate wedding ceremony right before their engagement session (which I guess is technically a “post-wedding” session!), I couldn’t have been more excited. It was absolutely beautiful out there in nature… and we had the entire field all to ourselves! After their ceremony, we hiked a short distance into the hills. It wasn’t long before M & J got into the swing of things and the images started flowing… 😉 Seriously, they were amazing! And so much fun to work with! Gorgeous spots among the trees were everywhere and as the Sun started to go down, it made for some absolutely magical light.
