For this adventure family photography session, we visited nearby Rattlesnake Lake in North Bend. Situated about 30 minutes from Seattle, it is one of many beautiful Pacific Northwest locations right here in the Snoqualmie area for family portraits. It’s a treasure trove of amazing spots around here, for sure and I’m so glad we got this session in before the rains hit too! This session was for a friend of mine – another competitive distance runner like myself and also a talented up-and-coming wedding cinematographer as well! We did an amazing styled wedding shoot together last summer that included a stop at Rattlesnake Lake, so it’s only fitting that when it came time to photograph his family, we’d revisit this dramatic location. 🙂 Seriously, I can’t get enough of all those stumps and the mountains surrounding the lake – just beautiful! And their little guy is about as adorable as they come! I loved his adventurous spirit out there and he looks just like a miniature version of his dad! I mean it is just unmistakable! Yep, we may have another future track and cross-country star among us! For now though, he’s perfectly happy exploring the rocks, collecting leaves, and riding my insanely fast vintage trike (actually, it is probably the slowest trike out there, but none of the little guys seem to care – they love it anyway)!
