I met up with this wonderful family of four in a rather abandoned industrial/naval area in Seattle for an absolutely incredible family and senior portrait photography session! I love brightly painted metal walls where the rust is eating through, or old weathered concrete splattered with graffiti. And old yellow buses from circa 1970 or so that say “the Streamliners” in big super groovy font on the side? Yes please! Seriously, this has got to be one of the coolest places I have ever had the pleasure of photographing a family! We were going for a bit of an urban decay theme, so this fit the bill perfectly. And I loved their outfits – they somehow chose perfect colors for our locations…! who could have known (we actually just found everything wandering around…)?!!! But the best part of it all was how much fun this family of four was to work with! I could tell they were all having fun too and as I recall, it was their Dad who spotted that yellow bus first, and suggested we get some photographs there! How awesome is that! It was then that I knew this was going to be an absolutely amazing family session! 😉
Thank you all so much for the wonderful family photography session! You all were so much fun to work with and I had a great time exploring with you! I’m glad we got the chance to capture some beautiful family photographs and senior portraits for your kids as well! Enjoy the sneak peek at a few of the many highlights from your session!
