Karyn & Peter were meant to be together. Looking at them with each other – you just know they’re totally in love. Hearing their story – well, you’ll know it had to be fate. Karyn and Peter’s story began years ago – back when they were just good friends who’s lives took them to opposite sides of the country, causing them to lose touch. Fast forward ten years later and Peter was returning to San Francisco and decided to look Karyn up. You see, Karyn didn’t know it yet, but Peter really liked her that whole time! I mean, really liked her! And so it was that after 10 years apart, they wound up talking for hours over beers at a cozy little sports bar in the Inner Sunset – a sports bar called Yancy’s. And that sports bar is precisely where we started Karyn & Peter’s engagement session.
Not long after that, Peter popped the question with this very card.
Yancy’s does have quite a bit of flavor of its own!
Then it was on to Golden Gate Park….
Seeing all that graffiti really inspired us – so much so in fact that Karyn & Peter had to add a little something of their own! Just kidding – the spray cans we found were empty…. or were they?!
Then lastly it was on to one of my newly discovered favorite spots in SF and one of the most amazing staircases I’ve ever seen!
Doesn’t she have amazing red shoes, by the way!
Thank you Karyn & Peter for such a wonderful afternoon! I really enjoyed working with you and can’t wait to photograph your wedding in September! You both totally rock! Here’s one more – one of my faves of the day too. I hope you enjoyed your sneak peek!
James, we couldn’t be happier with our pictures! Thank you for making a wonderful time in our life even more special. You are so incredibly gifted and we can’t wait to work with you again at the wedding!
Like I told you James, hands down the best decision we made throughout our journey. I’m so glad we went with the e-session! For being able to capture these images with a couple of camera shy subjects – WOW! I’m your biggest fan!
Peter
Great photos! I can imagine this couple looking at these phots 40 years from now and thinking how glad they are to have them! Priceless!
Thank you for the comments! I’m really excited about the wedding and looking forward to working with you both again!
