San Ramon SF Bay Area Indian Wedding Photographer: Nisha & Milan at Canyon View Dining Hall: part II

This is the second post for Nisha & Milan’s beautiful wedding. As I was editing them, I kept finding so many more images that I really loved and wanted to share. That’s really one of the hardest parts for me when it comes to posting to my blog — deciding which images to show and which images (tragically!) will not get shown! Alas, only the couple and their friends and family will get to see the rest! But enough mourning for the unseen, let’s get on with the post and some of the absolutely amazing moments in Nisha & Milan’s wedding. Thank you both again for sharing your special day with us! We so enjoyed working with you and wish you both the best in your future endeavors together!

I decided to start with a photograph of the couple from our brief shoot just after the ceremony and vidai. There are quite a few great spots around the Canyon View Dining Hall for photographs even in early afternoon sun. I love Milan’s adoring expression here! Then, it’s on to the ceremony! If you’d like to see the first post with the preparations and baraat, click here.

But….undefinedShe sat down in the wrong chair! That didn’t seem to matter because before Milan had a chance to get around her and sit down, she quickly moved to the other chair. Yep, she’s a fast one!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedThese next two images deserve explanation. In my last post (Part I), Milan’s shoes were “stolen” by the bride’s family just after the baraat. Now, he must buy them back! How much did they cost? Well, let’s just say they weren’t cheap! Here, Nisha’s sister is handling the negotiations as Milan forks over more green…undefinedThe celebration after getting his shoes back!undefinedI love the colors and Nisha’s saree was just absolutely beautiful!undefinedundefinedundefined undefined Don’t they make a cute couple!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedThis one of Nisha and her sister embracing is one of my favorite images of the day.undefinedundefinedI love to capture candids of the bride and groom’s families. This image of the bride’s mother shows just how much joy she was feeling at her daughter’s wedding.undefinedundefinedI love this one of the groom’s father. undefined If you keep your camera ready and your eye out for them, you’ll find touching, candid moments among the guests too!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefined
